2011級《研究生公共英語》課程教學要求及教學進度安排
(福建師范大學2011-2012學年第一學期)
第一部分 教學要求
2008年版《非英語專業碩士學位研究生英語教學要求(試行)》指出,作為學位必修課的碩士研究生英語教學包括綜合英語和專業英語兩部分。綜合英語以培養學生的語言應用能力為主,包括語言知識、語言應用、學習策略和跨文化交際等方面的內容。專業英語以培養學生在本學科專業領域用英語進行學術交流和研究的能力為主。根據碩士研究生入學水平和培養目標的不同將碩士研究生英語教學要求分為基本要求和較高要求兩個層次。根據我校實際情況,本課程旨在完成綜合英語部分內容,以基本要求為指導。
一、 教學對象
本課程的教學對象是福建師范大學全日制在校非英語專業的碩士研究生。
碩士生入學時應達到以下水平:
(1)理解性掌握5000個左右常用單詞及370個左右的常用詞組(即能正確識別詞類,選擇詞義),對其中1500個左右基本詞能復用性掌握(即能正確識別詞類,選擇詞義,英漢互譯,熟悉某些常用搭配和用法)并具有初步的構詞知識;
(2)掌握基本語法知識(具備大學英語覆蓋的語法知識);
(3)能閱讀一般難度(相當于大學英語四級課文的難度)的英語讀物,理解基本正確,閱讀速度為每分鐘50詞左右;
(4)能將一般難度的英語短文譯成漢語,理解基本正確,譯文達意;能將一般難度的漢語句子譯成英語,內容表達與語法基本正確;
(5)具有初步的寫作能力。

三、 課程要求
(一)教學目的
碩士生英語教學的目的是培養學生具有較熟練的閱讀能力,一定的寫、譯能力和基本的聽、說能力,能夠以英語為工具進行本專業的學習和研究。對聽、說能力要求較高的專業,可根據需要,加強聽、說能力的培養。
(二)教學要求
本課程旨在完成綜合英語教學內容,以基本要求為指導。
碩士生通過課程學習應達到基本要求如下:
(1)理解性掌握7000個左右常用單詞及1200個以上的常用詞組,復用性掌握其中2500個以上單詞;基本掌握常用詞根和詞綴,并能根據構詞法理解和運用派生詞。
(2)能基本聽懂語速正常、語言規范的日常英語談話和一般性題材的英語講座、演講等口語語料。能理解聽力材料的基本內容,掌握中心大意,獲取相關信息。
(3)能較順利地進行英語日常口語交流。能較清晰地描述一般事件;較有效地表達自己的觀點、情感和思想;能就一般性話題發表簡單評論或進行簡短討論。語言基本準確、流暢、得體。
(4)能讀懂不同體裁、一般性題材的英語語料。能理解作者的觀點,掌握材料的中心思想和基本內容,獲取相關細節,基本理解篇章結構。閱讀速度在每分鐘80詞以上。基本具備快速瀏覽和檢索文獻的能力。
(5)基本掌握常用英文文體的寫作方法,能就一般性話題在一小時內寫出300詞以上的文章,內容比較完整,語言表達基本準確、清晰、連貫,格式比較規范。
(6)能翻譯一般性題材、難度適中的中、英文材料。英文基本準確、通順。英譯漢的翻譯速度在每小時350個英語單詞以上,漢譯英的翻譯速度在每小時300個漢字以上。

注:1. 每次精讀課,即每篇閱讀課文課時安排計劃如下:每篇課文精讀三次課六學時,口語一次兩學時。
2.教學進度表中有藍色體字安排的均為上口語課的時間,口語課一共上7次,每次兩個課時。口語課必須分組、分小對、分個人按給定主題進行討論或演講,要求每個課題學生需進行對話練習,任課教師需作具體記錄,總計5分,以算入平時成績中。
3. 平時成績計算辦法:平時滿分為15分。內容包括平時練習(如聽寫、翻譯、作文和小測等)占5分、平時口語課堂參與占5分、滿勤占(含精讀和聽力課程考勤記錄)5分。作文需按照安排表中布置,教師需收取學生一篇作文,并修改判分作下記錄。
4. 關于平時缺課缺勤的規定如下:缺課三次、請假六次取消期末考試資格;請假三次等同缺席一次;每缺席一次、或每請假兩次在期末15分中扣除2分,每請假一次在期末15分中扣除一分。
5.關于請假的認定,學生每次課程的請假條需要有本人,輔導員和導師的簽字,并上交到研究生處培養科備案,到期末各任課老師到研究生處取回進請假條進行學生平時成績的核算。
6.關于重修生平時成績的考核一律按照正常學生規定進行。

1.由于聽力題庫來自全部上冊書內容,故本冊15課全部要上完,聽力課進度基本上每周一課。每次課內必須完成Part A、 Part B、 Part D。
2.關于平時缺課缺勤的規定如下:缺課三次、請假六次取消期末考試資格;請假三次等同缺席一次;每缺席一次、或每請假兩次在期末15分中扣除2分,請假一次在期末15分中扣除一分。請任課老師嚴格考勤。
五、評價方式與測試范圍:
1.期末成績的計算:期末考70%;口試15%;平時15%。平時成績:聽力課、精讀課和口語課出勤率、上課表現、完成作業情況,口語課堂和精讀課堂參與情況等。
2.測試范圍:各學期考試類型為Achievement Test, 書本內容約占70%,要求學生認真上好每一課。
3.考試題型:試卷由聽力、詞匯、閱讀理解、意譯(Paraphrase)、英譯漢、寫作六大部分組成,各部分分值如下:
1).聽力20%(20分)均來自聽力教材
對話10題(每題1分)
復合式聽寫一篇
2).詞匯15%(課本詞匯)共30題(每題0.5分)
3).閱讀理解30% 每篇設5個問題,共30題,每題1分
4).意譯10%(課文)共5題(每題2分)
5).英譯漢10%(課文)共5題(每題2分)
6).寫作15%
口語上課要求以及考試評分標準
上課要求
1. 小組活動、兩人活動、辯論等(group work、pair work & debate)是我們進行口語討論活動的有效組織形式,希望大家能執行。
2. 口語課有二個學時兩方面內容:一方面是口語話題圍繞閱讀課主題進行,就所給的口語題目和內容進行討論;二方面任課老師自行安排或繼續進行第一節討論內容,這兩節課的主角必須是學生,由學生進行口語對話,或討論,或辯論或演講。最后期末口試內容需綜合全年段各班討論的題目的效果進行最后的確定。

口試形式
讓學生抽簽,就抽到的話題進行陳述(Presentation)三分鐘。
口試評分標準
第一檔 12分左右
1.單詞發音準確,句子有升降調,有起伏 2.條理清楚,重點突出 3.三分鐘內至少講12句
第二檔 9分左右
1.單詞發音基本準確,句子有升降調有起伏2.條理較清楚重點較突出3.三分鐘內至少10句
第三檔6分左右
1.單詞發音尚可,句子偶爾有升降調,有起伏2.條理不清,重點不突出3.三分鐘內至少8句
第四檔3分以下
