帶你體驗16金發院面試全程及一些建議

以綜合成績前20%擬錄取幾天了。今早醒來就想著要不要寫一篇經驗？試了試竟能回憶起已經過去十多天的大部分面試內容。不再猶豫，樓主將采用夾序夾議方式開寫。

3月26日早晨，也是前晚筆試之后，樓主6點半左右起床，穿上正裝，吃了早餐，就往學校走去了，步行20分鐘后約提前20分鐘到達。
注：這段流水帳里有一個大家普遍愛問的問題:要不要穿正裝? 當時面試現場情況是60%以上都是正裝，所以顯然正裝更合適。至于要不要打領帶，個人喜好吧，樓主不知配什么領帶好，所以干脆沒打。哈哈

到了現場后，到了的同學都在背誦或默讀自我介紹,專業課英語要點什么的，十分鐘后，導師們駕到，研究生學姐叫我們在里面搬了些凳子在外面坐著，接著復試按復試編號順序開始進行。當然復試按復試編號單數雙數分為兩個小組，分別由院長和副院長領銜。我在雙號組。研究生學姐宣布面試開始，請了第一位同學進去，并請接下來的同學做好準備。
注：這段又是流水帳，目的是讓17er完整感受下整個流程。顯然這段等待時間最重要的是調整好心態和最后在默念一遍自己準備的內容。樓主背了遍自我介紹和重要的專業概念英語
另：有些面試完的同學會透露些面試內容，如樓主得知面試可能沒有自我介紹，需要注意下，但不必強求。

接下來就到樓主了。深呼吸，大門敞開，忘了有沒有敲門(應該是敲了)，徑直走了進去。(面試是在教室進行，考官坐在下面第一排，考生在講臺上的位置,考官應該只能看到考生上半身。)到位后站著，說了句Good morning ,professors. 接著便按要求坐下，略去不表?？脊儆校焊痹洪L冉齊鳴，郭楓教授，何重達教授(不確定)，高文蓮教授等，共六七人吧，記不清了，因為提問主要就冉，郭，何三位教授。面試內容開始：(“高保真”還原,當然用詞可能有些差別，同時請各位忽略語法錯誤，哈哈)

冉：What's your major?
Me：My major is Material science and engineering.
冉：What's material science?
Me:Material science is a major studying the properties of materials and about how to improve them and get the expected combinations of them.
冉：What's the relationship between finance and your major?Or what abilities do you gained from your major that will be beneficial for finance studing?
Me:I think the analysis ability i learned from my major will be beneficial,we deal with problems based on doing experiments,but economy based on model analysis.but被打斷
冉：I would like you to use examples to illustrate the points you mentioned.
Me：Sure. Take data analysis as example.We do experiments to get data, then analysis data, trying to get the expected results. In economy, we collect data, analysis data and incorporate them in particular model to get the results.被打斷
注:這算是第一回合吧。顯然這個問題是根據本科專業引申下來的，應該是很有通用性的一個問題。作為跨專業，被問到本專業和金融的聯系，也早該料到。但樓主沒準備，所以胡謅，還好英語還算流利，勉強應付。另外，樓主沒有自我介紹。
冉：Do you have read any book about economics ?
Me:In my sophomore year, as a beginner, i have read the <principles of economy>by Mankun.被打斷
冉:Which part or concept impressed you most?
Me:I think it maybe the concept of opportunity cost.
冉：What's your understanding of opportunity cost?
Me:When someone makes one decision ,the opportunity cost was the alternative he gives up. For example, if you choose stocks instead of bonds,the opportunity cost is the expected return of bonds.(但是沒這么流暢)
冉：(極為不滿狀)I don't know whether it is your language problem or understanding problem?
Me:(樓主意識到出大問題了，開始緊張，重整思路，重新表述)Opportunity cost is the best alternative someone gives up when he makes decision. For example被打斷
冉：Okay. I think you got the point.(??！虛驚一場，松了口氣)I noticed you choosed two elective courses about finace .
Me:Yes. Those courses are impressive and intriguing and opend an unprecedented new world for me.(有準備)
冉：Do you remember the teachers` name?
Me:(瀑布汗，作苦思狀)Oh，I am sorry i couldn't remember them.
郭：(笑)Do you always easily forget professors` name?Or because you always play truancy?
Me:I am so sorry. But i don't think so.I think it is may because the time is too long.

注：算是第二回合吧。樓主在這一回合很驚險！當問及讀過什么書時，毫不猶豫說了曼昆的經濟學原理，但第二個問題，哪個概念你映像最深刻時有點糾結于：機會成本，邊際，最優等，最后說了機會成本。但事實上第一次陳述機會成本這概念時表述錯誤，第二次終于說對，差點給自己挖了個大坑，真是驚險!很難想象一個連機會成本都不懂的人能通過研究生面試。后面郭老師的問題也很尷尬，因為樓主兩門選修課都是60多分，的確有經常缺課的嫌疑(事實就是缺課被點名哈哈哈)，只能以自己是往屆生來推脫?，F在回想才意識到以上真是可怕，這也可能是有些同學面試完感覺良好結果被刷的原因吧，他們沒意識到老師很隨意的問題可能處處是陷阱。

老師們這才注意到我是往屆(汗，有點后悔告訴他們了)
冉：Oh.You graduated some years ago. So, what are you doing after you graduated?
Me:I was working as a process engineer in a foreign capital company.
郭：What's your responsibilities at that job？
Me:My responsibilities are to refine quality of the product and to do researches and experiments to promote TPS system.(哈哈，樓主有備而來)
何：Tell me something about MM Theory?
Me:MM Theory was first proposed by Modigliani and Miller in 1959 and 1961.And proposition one was known as capital structure irrelevance theory. It suggests that it does not matter what capital structure a campany uses to finance its operation.Put it in another word, the total value of a leveraged firm equals to an unleveraged firm.被打斷
何：What do you know about "@$$%%**"?
Me:I am sorry. I don't get your question?
何：^^&&$&$road^^$&‘>‘‘>_‘<belt$^$&$&&
Me：(一臉茫然狀)
何：一帶一路！(這時老師們都在那笑，我自己也笑了)
Me：Oh .It's about politics.
冉：No，it's economy.
Me：Politic economy.
郭：Political economy(糾正)
Me：The first thought comes to my mind is that there is a double win here and it's about international cooperation. And the real problem under the surface is that China's productivity is too high and our domestic demand is insufficient ,so we need to export our product to boost our economy.
冉：You think that China's productivity is too high?
郭：I think he means production ability.
Me:Yes, i mean in some industries production capacity are too high based on my experience.

這算是第三回合。這是樓主最順暢的一回合，因為所問問題都有準備而且應該是得分點。(一個專業課問題一個熱點問題，雖“一帶一路”沒聽懂，但我覺得老師覺得沒什么，這也是我唯一沒聽懂的一次和全場唯一一句中文)樓主這里的建議是把專業課重要概念在investopedia這個網站搜索下，整理做成卡片，背熟，專業課問題跑不出這些范圍。樓主大概做了30個左右卡片(推薦anki這個app)。

冉：Why do you choose to study finance?
Me:I think i am more suitable and more interested in finance. I have about 8 years experience study mathematic competition and i have read many books
when at college.And I was 被打斷
何：Efficient market hypothesis！(何老師此處不是提問，只是取笑我來讀金融是因為有效市場理論，哈哈，我以為是讓我解釋)
Me:Efficient market hypothesis suggests existing share prices always reflect and incorporate all relevant market information.被打斷
冉：Tell Me something about dynamic optimation. you can use an easy example to illustrate this .Take easy,We just want to learn something from you.
Me：(沉思狀)I must confess that i don't know about this.
何：Aha.Finally,you have something to learn from us.
冉：Whenever someone tell us they are good at mathematics, we always want to learn something from them.
Me：Haha.You are so humble.
冉：(看了看表)OK. I think we can finish this interview here.
郭：You impressed us,thanks.
Me:Thanks.Thank you.

面試結束。鞠躬后走出。感覺樓主終場做的很不好，被一句可能郭老師跟誰都說的you impressed us 高興的沖昏了頭腦，忘了說一些客套話。以上回憶忘了一段關于彈性的討論，略去不表。
總之整個面試過程輕松愉快，絲毫感覺不到緊張，有驚險之處也算平靜的掠過。但樓主過于放松，有時竟忘了是在面試。
