音樂簡介：

音樂講述的是歷史上巴比倫之囚的故事。那時很多猶太樂師被掠奪到巴比倫，當然還有其他的工匠。國王命令樂師為其演奏，樂師們寧死不屈。國王大怒，把這些人的雙手都砍了。他們坐在巴比倫河邊徹夜哭泣……

這首音樂的旋律極其優美流暢，節奏明快奔放。但是當我們隨著那輕松、恬靜、安祥、流水般的樂曲，想象和回味著背井離鄉的猶太囚徒正身處逆境、漂泊異國他鄉的滋味，仿佛看到一幅殘忍凄涼的景像：正處于生不如死、水深火熱之中的猶太人，仍在苦苦的思戀著自己家鄉的小溪、綠野、田埂和稻香……音樂作者運用天堂、理想國和離鄉的人們作比較，與人們的悲傷形成鮮明的對比。坐在巴比倫河畔，傷心的人們似乎在泣訴：巴比倫河啊，你靜靜地流淌，夜色是多么安祥，可是你哪里知道，就在你的身旁，我們被的異鄉人有多么的凄涼，愿圣上也能知道我們的心聲，我們的祈禱和冥想……

極其矛盾的是，這首本該是用來描述悲壯的思鄉之情的音樂，后來卻更多的拿來表達幸?？鞓返男木场赃@樣，我想那是因為她那流暢、明快、奔放的旋律的緣故吧。

樂隊簡介：歌曲演唱Boney M(波尼"M)樂隊是前西德的演唱組合，她不僅是一支在上個世紀七八十年代風靡一時的迪斯科樂隊，更是整個迪斯科時代的一個傳奇、縮影和代表。這支樂隊在上世紀70年代末80年代初雄踞歐洲音樂排行榜之首。Boney M樂隊成員來自西群島、牙買加等地。制作人是弗朗克. 菲林 (Frank Fariam)。1977年他們以一曲《Daddy Cool》走紅，特有的迪斯科韻味，加之當時美國風行迪斯科熱潮，因而樂隊大受歡迎。自那以后，Boney M 的周單曲銷量高達10萬張，錄有這首歌的專輯《TaketheHeatOffme》也隨之火爆。 Boney M 名字的由來也同樣富有傳奇色彩。在樂隊組建前期，樂隊的制作人Frank Farian正在制作歌曲“Baby Do You Wanna Bump”的時候，還沒有真正意義上的樂隊和樂隊的名字。有一天Farian看到一部澳大利亞電視連續劇中的男主角--一個警察, 他的名字叫Boney，他不僅喜歡這部電視劇中的這位英雄 , 而且他覺得Boney將會是一個很好的名字。但是他還覺得缺點什么,就開始從字母中尋找，最后 Boney M這個名字誕生了。
創作背景：

巴比倫河在美索不達米亞平原，位于伊拉克和伊朗之間。據說《巴比倫河》的曲調最初是牙買加的民間音樂，1969年由歌手Brent Dowe、Tony Brevette、 and Trevor McNaughton根據《圣經》贊美詩137：1填詞，當時歌詞的大體意思是：公元前586年，奴役者命令流放在巴比倫的猶太人一起唱歌。但此時此刻猶太人哪有心情唱歌，因為他們的圣城耶路撒冷已被敵人占領，要唱的話，也只能是大聲唱出自己的心聲——自由。1972年《巴比倫河》收錄在音樂片《the Harder they come》, 該片向世界展示了優美的牙買加的民間音樂。 1978年，BONEY M首次演唱了具有迪斯科風格的《巴比倫河》（歌詞略作改動），在歐洲樂壇引起巨大轟動，單曲銷量創下了英國唱片史上的紀錄。隨后兩三年，他們的許多歌在世界各個排行榜占有一席之地。從此在全世界廣為流傳。他們擅長將一些老歌改編成迪斯科節奏的舞曲，而給他們改編的老歌總是別具一格，重放異彩，一下成為熱門歌曲，令歌迷拍案叫絕。代表作有《巴比倫河》、《夢中的媽媽》……
