第五屆新能源與能源互聯國際學術會議將于2020年7月14日-17日在西安召開。自第一屆會議在北京召開以來，會議邀請到了來自世界100多個國家和地區的專家學者，如德國的波鴻魯爾大學，英國的利茲大學，阿爾斯特大學，美國的紐約州立大學，大峽谷州立大學，加拿大的瑞爾森大學，溫莎大學，清華大學，復旦大學，上海交通大學等。2019年，會議在澳門科技大學圓滿舉辦，IEEE終身會士Leszek S. Czarnecki教授，澳門科技大學能源與環境研究所所長王志石教授前來參會并做大會報告，會議下設8個分會場，并最終選舉出8位最佳口頭報告和3位最佳張貼報告，獲獎者將免注冊費參加2020年會議。連續四年，接近500篇文章完成EI檢索，接近100篇文章完成SCI檢索。
