*年外國語學院官網通知不考概況和翻譯了，題型變化較大，不知道19年是否會延續，同學可以給外國語學院研招辦打電話詢問。
英美文學官方不給參考書了，以前的參考書是英國文學：李增的新編英國文學簡史 羅經國的新編英國文學選讀 美國文學：常耀信的美國文學簡史 美國文學選讀 。出了官方的參考書我還用了1陜西師大出版社 張穎 的新編美國文學簡史 這本書和李增的新編英國文學簡史是姊妹篇，都是東師老師出的書，強烈推薦。
2劉炳善英國文學簡史和學習指南 這本書是主流的文學史教材，除了2016年考的iris murdoch 的black prince 和 other generic features of modernism shown in *irgina woolf’s mrs Dalloway 和 campus no*el這些題目是新書里的， 2017,20*年英國文學都沒考李增的新書內容，或者可以說你按照劉炳善或者常耀信的英國文學史來答東師題一樣可以考高分，這就告訴大家英國文學只要看透主流教材的知識點完全可以考高分，但也不意味著李增的新書就可以不看了，因為東師的英美文學專業課出題變化太大。
3 南開大學出版社的英國文學通史 共3冊，一套200多元，這幾本書是漢語的，包含的作者作品非常廣泛，就是專門來配合李增的新書看的，李增的新書包含了許多作家，作品，還有很多非主流的，有時可以先看一下英國文學通史的漢語，在看李的英語就容易理解多了，但李增的新書有一些缺點必須指出，一是里面的單詞拼寫錯誤很多，基本讀幾頁就有錯字，還有就是浪漫主義里缺少了 Robert burns ,實在不應該。看李的新書時，里面的terms需要留心記住，比如campus no*el 16年就考了，比如bildungsroman comedy of manners ,negati*e capability ,ri*er no*el , dystopia no*el angry Youngman mo*ement poets , kitchen sink drama 等比較重要的terms 自己要留心整理。
4精編美國文學教程（中文版）這個和美國文學簡史學習指南差不多，但內容稍微比前者豐富些。
5.漫話英美文學---英美文學史考研指南，這本和上面的都是南開大學文學精品教材，對于理解作品主題和手法，了解作者*很大幫助。
6星火英語專業考點精梳英美文學，里面的知識點必須全部記住，這是最基礎的，也是決定你分數高低的因素之一。
7圣才英語專業英美文學考研真題詳解 ，里面的真題參考價值很高，個人感覺廈門大學和東師的題型難度差不多。
8我還在網上打印了英國文學練習題庫，100多頁，分7個階段1 old and middle English literature 2 english literature in the renaissance period 3 english literature in the 17th century 4 in the *the century 5 in the romantic period 6 in the 19th century 7 in the 20th century
最后介紹一下英美文學的學習方法： 開始時配合英美文學簡史學習指南來看書，一章一章的看，看完一章可以對照星火的考點精梳來看看本章的出題角度和高頻考點，然后強烈推薦看考試點學習網張生庭主講的美國文學簡史，講的特別好，感覺比很多老師講的都全面，他講的都是重點，對于理清美國文學脈絡很有幫助，閑魚有他的視頻課，盜版的，幾元錢，很便宜。也有其他老師講劉炳善英國文學史的，感覺講的一般。 李增的新書如果完全看透的話估計得2個月左右，但考試考得概率很低，17,*年都沒考，東師*年變換題型后的特點就是英美文學考查內容對文學史的考查明顯減少，更多的側重于英美文學選讀的考查，*年的2個詩歌解析就有50分，美國文學考查的內容大多來自張穎的新編美國文學史及選讀，和常耀信美國文學簡史，*年的很多選的題可以在張穎的書里找到答案。還有東師對戲劇的考查除了莎翁外，很少涉及，*年的英國文學都沒有考查19世紀以后的作家。
再介紹一下答題技巧吧，terms 不用寫的太多，2,3行長度寫出關鍵詞，時間，地點，代表人物，作品，技巧，流派，影響就夠了，我就是terms寫的太長了，都100多字，而后面分值高的題卻沒時間寫了。簡答題如果是自己不熟悉的作家作品，一定不要空著，把theme ，plot, technique, characters ,point of *iew, 這幾方面都寫一下，也有很多字數了，比如寫theme，一般都是expose the corruption of society , criticize the inequality of …, moralize, gi*e a panaromic picture of society in … 然后根據具體流派補充就行，character 就是 *i*id , left an unforgettable impression on readers ,gi*e a true to life picture of … influence 就是 lea*e a far-reaching influence to posterity and writers ，poets dramatists to come, become a milestone in british or American literature ….
書讀百遍，其意自現，只要認真打牢基礎，是可以取得一個不錯的成績的。*年英美文學方向初試題型不考翻譯和概況了，叮囑同學們定期關注外國語學院官網了解最新考研動態。

總的來說paraphrase 和翻譯題有難度 ，考試2小時，大家一定要先答會的和分數高有把握的，我復試時就是前面時間耽誤太多了，后面的20分大題只剩十分鐘了，一定要吸取我的教訓，考試一定要合理安排時間，給每一部分固定的答題時間，避免因小失大。
*專業課面試
進教室之前5分鐘老師發給每個考生一張A4紙，上面有一篇英語閱讀，我抽到的是關于 anthropology的短文，進去之后先問好，然后會坐在講臺的凳子上 首先是自我介紹，然后老師根據自我介紹提問，問我問什么選擇文學，今后的打算，然后主考首先提問，讓朗讀A4紙上的文章，之后由于文章中提到了動物，老師就問我了解 animal farm 嗎，我說yes,之后我就summary，comment 一下animal farm ,大約1分鐘吧，接下來第二個老師問我喜歡那個詩人或作家，我答 Robert frost ，然后簡單comment 一下frost,之后老師問能背誦他的詩歌嗎，我說No，老師很失望，然后讓我背了pound的in a station of the metro，由于沒背過，只是大概背了幾句，第三個老師說你剛才提到了modernism，請簡單介紹一下modernism和 representati*es，我介紹了Virginia woolf 的mrs Dalloway, 老師讓我summary一下，然后提問from whom mrs Dalloway get the news of septimus’s death ,我回答from a doctor of septimus participating the e*en party ,老師滿意點題，最后一個老師提問comment tess of the drber*illes or jude the obscure 由于我之前準備的最喜歡的作品就是tess ,所以這道題很順利，面試結束了。筆試和面試，感覺自己的真是實力完全沒有發揮出來，糊里糊涂的就結束了。
大約2天后研招辦的老師會給擬錄取的同學打電話，沒接到電話就意味著復試被刷了，4月3日下午學院公布了擬錄取名單，今年沒有擴招，英美文學方向只錄取了7人，有初試排名第8的同學翻盤，初試排名第四的同學被刷，競爭很殘酷。
